He worked on several projects associated with uranium processing at IPEN - Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research of CNEN National Commission for Nuclear Energy, and later at COPESP - Coordination for Special Projects of the Navy, with emphasis on the design and operation of the unit for converting Yellow Cake to Uranium Hexafluoride.
For four years at Setal Engenharia e Construções Ltda he worked in the process department participating in petrochemical and mining plant projects as well as in the development of atmospheric dispersion simulation software. In twelve years as an engineer at C.Greco - Térmica e Fluidos Consultoria Ltda, he was involved in data collection, monitoring of assemblies and setting up combustion systems for cement kilns in Brazil and other countries. In the same company, he carried out studies of mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of equipment and / or processes aimed at reducing energy consumption and / or increasing production in different sectors of the industry: cement, fertilizers, mining, pulp and paper and petrochemicals.
At ABB Lummus Global (USA) he worked on projects in the process department, then at Air Liquide - Brasil SA he was responsible for the department of special projects, including burners, oxy-combustion systems, inerting systems, CO2 and acetylene gas, among others, in addition to the development and implementation of software for quantification of cryogenic product in tanks.
Since 2003 at FIGENER, he became one of the partners in 2008. As project coordinator, he manages and executes studies and projects and monitors the implementation and start-up of combustion equipment (burners, furnaces, hot gas generators, etc. .) and various industrial facilities (dedusting and gas washing systems) notably in the sectors: chemical, petrochemical, mining and metallurgy, fertilizers, paper and cellulose, pharmaceutical and food. Performs studies of mathematical modeling and numerical simulation (of thermal and hydraulic transients) of various industrial processes and equipment aiming at increasing energy efficiency and / or increasing production.
